Holy Baptism is full initiation by water and the Holy Spirit into Christ’s Body the Church.  It is the public act of accepting Jesus Christ as Savior, putting ones whole trust in God’s grace and love, and promising to follow and obey God.  As the candidate makes promises towards God, the members of St. Stephen’s Church promise to do all in their power to support the newly baptized in their life in Christ.

For those interested in baptism should contact the office.

We customarily celebrate Baptisms on the Feast of the Baptism of Jesus (January), Easter Vigil (March/April), Pentecost Sunday (May/June), Homecoming (September) and All Saints Sunday (November).
