“Hear our prayer O Lord and let our cry come unto thee.” From Psalm 102
Praying with a community is a vital part of the Christian community’s work because it alters us and allows us to see that we are not alone; that we are all strengthened and our faith deepened by “…beseeching God to fill us with His grace that we might know the healing power of His love.” BCP
The Healing Prayer Team – humbly listens to requests and offers prayers at the Memorial Altar on Sunday mornings, during the Eucharist, with the utmost respect for the privacy of the community.
We have a weekly Thursday healing service at noon in the chapel with laying on of hands, anointing with oil and Eucharist.
We occasionally offer special healing services such as a Blue Christmas service and during Holy Week.
The Pastoral Care Team and the clergy regularly visit the sick and shut-ins. Please contact us if you would like to be added to our prayer list or to arrange for a visit.
