A year ago I went through the “valley of the shadow of death.”   I was in a coma but I remember that I was lying down in a beautiful green pasture – so peaceful. Now I have come back to life, thanks to so many prayers from my St. Stephen’s family and many others and from receiving such great medical care.

— God was taking care of me.

So why did I come back here, God? What is your purpose for me?  I have been so close to death, you must have a good reason to keep me here on this earth.  Struggles with daily life—physical limitations, everyday living expenses.  I am so thankful for receiving assistance for food and rent and disability income.

— God was taking care of me.

I have large medical bills that are overwhelming and I pray God will take care of me. Each day I need to be thankful for new life and remember to  “be still and know that I am God.”  Just recently I have learned that my mother’s cancer has spread. But in Matthew it says “Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”
