A little over a year ago, I was struggling with the death of my father and recently discovered that my granddaughter may have a rare bone disease on top of the many challenges of running a business and daily life.  One of my coping mechanisms is to hand it to God when life becomes that overwhelming that I feel that I can’t handle it.  In the midst of this trying time, I had a dream that went like this:

There were a group of us gathered having a BBQ, family and friends.  In the open garage, there were people mingling and cooking food on a grill. Above the garage was a loft that someone had stored life sized statues of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph (like the ones you would see on the lawns of churches.)  I went up there and was looking at them when the statue of Jesus started talking to me. I said “you’re talking”. Then he was down in the group of people at the BBQ but was dressed in casual clothes with his hair pulled back in a ponytail and a baseball hat on his head.  Excited, I was trying to tell the others that it was Jesus, and that he was there, but nobody would pay attention.  The just continued with their conversations and ignored me.  So Jesus said to me “don’t worry, it’s ok, they don’t have to know.” Jesus then said to me “you will struggle and things won’t be easy, but it will be ok.”

I woke up in the morning and told my husband about my dream.  I felt so happy and encouraged.  I believe that Jesus visited me in a dream.
